I dont understand how people just trounce games like Mass Effect or Uncharted because of what some reviewer said on a website. I have watched plenty of movies that got bad scores from these so called expert movie critics and came away very satisfied. I am glad I didnt listen to the reviews. I would have missed out on a great experience.

Almost makes me wish I had waited to buy my 60GB PS3 for $500.00 But backwards compatability and the card ports were important to me at the time. It's been almost 5 months since I sent in my Blu-Ray registration form and I still heven't recieved my 5 free Blu-Ray movies. Has anybody else had any problems with this? Does anybody know who I can contact about this matter? I have a friend who offered to buy these movies from me for $50.00 Thank you.

COD4 sold more in 1 week than Ratchet and Clank sold in 3 weeks. Ratchet and Clank is supposed to be the flagship PS3 title this year. I bought it last week, its a great game. What I want to know is how the heck does a 3rd party multiplatform title outsell a first party exclusive title? Dont get me wrong COD4 is a fantastic game. But WTF?

But CGI-quality it is not. My 7 year old son saw it on the TV while it was paused, I told him it was a Blu-Ray movie, and he still thought it was a game. That being said this game is still very impressive. Games like this are a must have addition to any gaming library regardless of which console you own. I would praise this game just as much if it were on my 360. I think if Sony bundled this game with the PS3 instead of Spiderman 3 it would sell alot more consoles.
I got sucked into the 1080P hype. I ended up choosing a 40" Samsung over a 40" Sony Bravia. The Samsung was cheaper, had more HDMI ports, better contrast ratio, and the sleek, shiny, black frame made the TV look better too.

I tend to buy all the videogame consoles because my loyalty is to videogames and not the companies that make the consoles or even to the companies that make the games. If a game is good I dont care what console or what computer I have to own to play it. I dont discriminate.
I still remember playing Diablo II online with my brothers. That was the first and only videogame that got my 4 brothers and I to play online together. The only other game my family played was old pen and paper Dungeons and Dragons when I was a child. I'm telling you Blizzard can do no wrong in my eyes. I still play Warcraft III: Frozen Throne all the time.
I have been playing fighters since the original Street Fighter II in the arcades. Thats like me saying why keep buying sequels to every game like Halo --> Halo 2 --> Halo 3. I use HDMI for my PS3 and 360. But its mostly because I dont have a surround sound system yet and because I dont want that many cables hooked up to my 1080P HDTV. I have 3 HDMI connections so I am good unless Nintendo comes out with a HD videogame console anytime soon :p

But it will become a viable alternative to going to the store and renting/buying the movie on an optical media format. It's just like online shopping. Online shopping didn't kill off retail stores. It just gave some of us an alternative means of purchasing. It's for those who dont like to drive to the store, deal with crowds of people, and stand in line to purchase what they want.

They all have thier flaws. All 3 consoles brings something to the table that thier competitors dont. All 3 will be successful. All 3 consoles will have exclusive games that I want to play. It's definetly a 3 horse race. The only console I dont have is a Wii and I am getting that before the end of the year. I say we should let the games decide who has the best console.

The funny thing is I have never had so much fun sucking at a game in my life. I usually start off the match by apologizing to my teammates ahead of time.
